TEPE (Teacher Education Policy in Europe Network), organisiert von University of Umea, wurde gegründet 2007 mit dem übergeordneten Ziel, Empfehlungen für die Lehrer_innenausbildung zu formulieren. Dieser Volltext wurde im Rahmen der Konferenz 2008 verfasst und befasst sich mit der Konzeption der Standads für Lebenslanges lernen in Moldova. Der Fokus liegt auf einer Reihe von Veränderungen, die in näherer Zukunft stattfinden werden: – Übergang zu einem System, das stärker an den Bedürfnissen der Lehrer orientiert ist – Verbesserung der Zugänglichkeit des Fortbildungssystems – Anregung von Konkurrenz aber auch Partnerschaft unter den Anbietern von Fortbildungen – Anregungen, dass Lehrer sich selbst um die Gestaltung ihres Fortbildungsprogrammes kümmern. In diesem Zusammenhang verweist der Bericht auf nationale politische Strategien im Bereich der Lehrerfortbildung, generelle Ziele, Rahmenbestimmungen.

It provides a description and analysis of the historical setting and the social, cultural, economic and political conditions in this country. The focus of n-ost is on detailed reports from and about eastern Europe. This article reveals basic conceptions of the standards for continuos training of teachers in the Republic of Moldova elaborated by Cara Angela, PhD, Prof. Gutu Vladimir, PhD, Prof. Gremalschi Anatol, PhD, Solovei Rodica, PhD , Baciu Sergiu, PhD. It is also concerned with the Teacher Education Policies in the Republic of Moldova from the perspective of changes that are going to take place in the Moldovan system of teachers’ continuous training: • Transition from a system governed by offers to a system adjusted to teachers‘ real demands, interests and needs; • Increasing accessibility of the system for a wide range of training providers and, consequently, increasing the number of offers of training; • Encouraging free competition, but also partnership between various training providers, which will lead to the improvement of the general quality of offers; • Encouraging teachers to assume and create their own continuous training itinerary. Taking into account the above mentioned points here are presented national strategies concerning teachers’ continuous training in the Republic of Moldova, general objectives of the continuous professional training, reference framework of the standards elaboration for the continuous training of general secondary education teachers of the Republic of Moldova.
