His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima will pay a state visit to the Czech Republic at the invitation of President Petr Pavel. The visit will take place on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 June 2025. The King and Queen will be accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Caspar Veldkamp. Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans and Minister of Economic Affairs Dirk Beljaarts will also take part in the state visit.
They work closely together within the European Union and NATO.

His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima are to pay a state visit to the Portuguese Republic from 10 to 12 October 2017 at the invitation of President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa (see Government Information Service press release no. 132). The King and Queen will visit Lisbon, Alverca, Sintra and Cascais. They will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation will head a parallel trade mission to Portugal with representatives of the airport development and aircraft manufacturing industry and the environmental technology and sustainable energy sector.
