The atomic driven enterprise is the first aircraft carrier of this kind and is one of the largest ship objects ever built. This gigantic aircraft carrier was put into service on November 25, 1961. Eight water -cooled reactors create a total output of 300,000 hp, with which the ship reaches an average speed of 35 knots.
