China wird als ‚Mitspieler‘ in der globalen governance immer wichtiger. Vor diesem Hintergrund wurden in den Bereichen Handel, Entwicklung, Klima und Energie verschiedene Fragen zu Herausforderungen, governance Strukturen und deren Einfluss auf Chinas Verhalten sowie der Beeinflussung durch die EU analysiert. Auf der Basis von diesen Untersuchungsergebnissen sollte anschließend eine Einschätzung über die zukünftige Einbringung Chinas in globale governance sowie Konsequenzen für die chinesisch-europäischen Beziehungen gegeben werden.
