NET4SOCIETY is the international network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities (SSH) in the 7th European Framework Programme (FP7). National Contact Points are set up to guide researchers in their quest for securing EU funding. NET4SOCIETY offers dedicated networking workshops, specific high quality trainings, and mentoring to the SSH NCPs. The website provides a library of EC documents of key SSH relevance, and other documents of key interest. A best practice handbook and a database for the specific area of “Socio-economics and Humanities”, including a refined partner-search tool are in the making. To the research community, NET4SOCIETY offers access to funding opportunities, improved partner search facilities and brokerage events. An analysis of topics in all of the FP7 work programmes helps identify funding opportunities over and beyond Theme 8 „Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities“.

Cedefop´s work on statistics and indicators supports and contributes to statistical developments at European and international levels to improve the relevance and quality of data as well as methods and tools for data collection. Cedefop´s statistics and indicators work also aims to support evidence based policy and practice in vocational education and training, lifelong learning and skills. Products and services include dedicated publications and regular updates of key online statistics. Users can also access further statistics, indicators or related information. Cedefop´s focus on vocational education and training statistics draws on European data collections and surveys to provide key summary indicators, from country trends in initial and continuing vocational training to resources and financing of VET.

Die Europäische Exekutivagentur für Bildung und Kultur (EACEA) verwaltet Fördermittel für die Bereiche Bildung, Kultur, audiovisuelle Medien, Sport, Bürgertum und Freiwilligentätigkeit. Die EACEA verwaltet die meisten Teile der folgenden EU-Förderprogramme in enger Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Kommissionsdienststellen: Kreatives Europa, Erasmus+, Europäisches Solidaritätskorps, Bürger, Gleichstellung, Rechte und Werte. Die EACEA verwaltet weiterhin die im Programmzeitraum 2014-2020 und im Programmzeitraum 2007-2013 ausgewählten Projekte. Die EACEA verwaltet auch das Eurydice-Netzwerk (Analysen und Vergleichsdaten zu den europäischen Bildungssystemen und -strategien) und das Youth Wiki (Information zu den nationalen Jugendpolitiken in Europa). Weitere Aufgaben sind: Ausarbeiten von Bedingungen und Leitlinien für den Erhalt von Fördergeldern, Antragsbewertung, Auswahl von Projekten und Unterzeichnung von Projektvereinbarungen, Pflege enger Kontakte mit den Begünstigten und Projektüberwachung, Information und Unterstützung von Antragstellern und Begünstigten, Unterstützung der Europäischen Kommission bei Politikmaßnahmen.
