Das 1949 von den Mitgliedstaaten des Europarates gegründete Europa-Kolleg Brügge bietet jährlich rund 420 Studenten mit Hochschulabschluß die Möglichkeit, sich in einem zehnmonatigen Aufbaustudium in Warschau oder Brügge vertiefend mit der europäischen Integration zu befassen und einen Master of Arts zu erwerben. Die deutschen Stipendien für das Europa-Kolleg werden von dem „Netzwerk Europäischen Bewegung Deutschland“ vergeben.- Auf der Website werden weitere Informationen zur Geschichte der Einrichtung und den Studienbedingungen und -gängen angeboten.

The Learning Cities Network responds to an urgent need to provide a central forum for lifelong learning ideas and activities. It is an international network of people and organisations involved in the implementation of lifelong learning concepts at all levels of society and the community. The vision of the LCN is to provide interactive services that members can use. Die Erklärung fordert die Europäische Kommission auf, sich mehr in der Talenteförderung in Europa zu engagieren. „Talent“ wird hier synonym zu „Begabung / Begabte“ benutzt. Außerdem wird „Talent“ hier weit gefasst, als eine Eigenschaft, die „bestimmt in jedem Bürger Europas (…) schlummert“. Die Erklärung muß, um angenommen zu werden, bis 19. The EU-Canada Programme funds joint study and training programmes allowing transatlantic exchanges between European and Canadian education institutions. The Agreement focuses on four activities to benefit higher education students, vocational education and training teachers, trainers and administrative staff: development of curricula, including development of double/joint degrees; student exchanges with provision for credit recognition; faculty exchanges; international internships.
