Die AKKL ist der Verband der finnischen Berufsbildungszentren für Erwachsene, dem 47 Berufsbildungszentren angehören. Ziele sind: Verbesserung der beruflichen Kompetenz der Erwerbstätigen, Steigerung der Studienmöglichkeiten für Erwachsene, Einsatz für mehr Internationalisierung in der finnischen Erwachsenenbildung und der Kampf gegen die Arbeitslosigkeit. Die Website stellt die AKKL sowie die Untereinheiten: AIKE International Ltd. (unabhängige Einheit, die transnationale Aktivitäten im Bereich berufliche Erwachsenenbildung regelt) und Aike Oy (Projektarbeit) vor. Umfangreiche Linksammlung über Kooperationspartner und Programme. Außerdem führt eine Linkliste zu allen 47 Zentren. Ein besonderer Link gilt dem beruflichen Qualifizierungsprojekt „TUKEVA“.
