Die Europäische Kommission führte vom 17.12.2013 bis zum 15.04.2014 eine öffentliche Befragung zum Thema Fertigkeiten / Fähigkeiten und Qualifikationen im Europäischen Rahmen durch. Ziel der Befragung war u.a. zu ermitteln, wie die Anerkennung von Qualifikationen und Bildungsabschlüssen innerhalb der EU verbessert werden können. Damit zusammenhängend sollte ermittelt werden, wie die europäische Bildungspolitik die Anerkennungsprozesse weiter erleichtern könne und ob es Sinn mache, einen europäischen Rahmen bzw. bestimmte Richtlinien für Fähigkeiten und Qualifikationen zu entwickeln.
