The Centre for Research on Lifelong Learning (CRELL) was established in 2005 in order to provide expertise in the field of indicator-based evaluation and monitoring of education and training systems and their contribution to the achievement of Community objectives specified in the Lisbon Agenda and more recently in the EU2020 agenda as regards this domain. CRELL combines expertise in the fields of economics, econometrics, education, social sciences and statistics in an interdisciplinary approach to research. CRELL is sponsored by the European Commission Directorate General Education and Culture (DG EAC) and co-ordinated by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (DG JRC).

This information on the vocational education systems and the belonging politics, research and praxis of the EU member countries plus Iceland and Norway are provided by ETV ( European Training Village) and CEDEFOP (reference centre in topics of vocational education). Information is available in German, English and the languages of the EU member countries. A thematic overview on 11 topics is offered, where you first have to choose one topic before you can get country specific information on it. NET4SOCIETY – Trans-national co-operation among National Contact Points for Socio-economic sciences and the Humanities – english information

NET4SOCIETY is the international network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities (SSH) in the 7th European Framework Programme (FP7). National Contact Points are set up to guide researchers in their quest for securing EU funding. NET4SOCIETY offers dedicated networking workshops, specific high quality trainings, and mentoring to the SSH NCPs. The website provides a library of EC documents of key SSH relevance, and other documents of key interest. A best practice handbook and a database for the specific area of “Socio-economics and Humanities”, including a refined partner-search tool are in the making. To the research community, NET4SOCIETY offers access to funding opportunities, improved partner search facilities and brokerage events. An analysis of topics in all of the FP7 work programmes helps identify funding opportunities over and beyond Theme 8 „Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities“.
