The Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Headquarters and Mission staff were generous with their time, as were those from the other federal government departments and agencies which included representatives of Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Passport Canada, Canada Border Services Agency, National Defence, Public Safety Canada and the Privy Council Office. We would also express our appreciation to the diplomatic representatives of other countries who shared their approaches to providing consular services and emergency management to their nationals, as well as to the private sector company representatives who also generously gave of their time to answer our questions.
