The Evaluation Division (ZIE) of the Office of Audit, Evaluation and Inspection would like to extend its appreciation to all employees of DFAIT, representatives of other government departments, private companies and business associations who agreed to participate in interviews for the formative evaluation of the Investment Cooperation Program of DFAIT. Notice to Exporters No. 102 – Export of Logs from British Columbia

This Notice replaces Notice to Exporters, Serial No. 23 of January 1, 1986, entitled: Export of Logs from British Columbia. While all logs exported from Canada require Federal export permits for all destinations, this Notice provides information with respect to the export of logs from British Columbia. Log exports are controlled for the purposes set out in Section 3(e) of the Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA): 3(e) to ensure that there is an adequate supply and distribution of the article in Canada for defence or other needs.

Evaluation of International Assistance Programming in Peru, 2013-14–2018-19

Global Affairs Canada’s International Assistance Evaluation Division (PRA) conducted an evaluation of Canadian development programming in Peru from 2013-14 to 2018-19. The evaluation aimed to inform decision-making, promote learning and improve Canadian programming. Evaluation questions covered effectiveness, gender equality and sustainability; responsiveness within a middle-income country; and policy and program coherence.
