The documentary follows children aged 11 to 13 on their way to school in Argentina, Morocco, India and Kenya. The Network FLACSO (Latin American Institute for Social Sciences) is an international organisation in research and documentation founded in 1957 by the UNESCO. It has offices in 16 Latin American Countries. Since 1982, the Argentinian office of FLACSO has an area and website for education and educational research. Two programmes are central to this education area: the programme for „Education, Knowledge and Society“ (Educación, Conocimiento y Sociedad) and the programme for „Politics, Languages and Subjectivities of Education“ (Políticas, Lenguajes y Subjetividades en Educación).
