This website of the National Directorate for Information and Evaluation of Education Quality (DiNIECE) is a structural unit of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. It is responsible for the evaluation of the national education system and renders its contribution to the development of educational information and educational investigations according to the aims and tasks of educational policy. The International Unesco Institute for Educational Planning (IIPE) with its regional office in Buenos Aires (Argentina) is a research centre as well as a centre for training, documentation and dissemination. Together with the two other offices in Paris (France) and Dakar (Senegal) it constitutes a forum for exchange of ideas and concepts with regard to the planning and the management of education in an international perspective. The Latin-American Virtual Campus (CAVILA) is the establishment of a virtual space of higher education with the necessary teacher quality and research, to attain the common use of the scientific-technical asquisitions of each member university.

You can find educational research on different campuses and in different faculties and departments of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina. The Campus of Mendoza has a Department of Humanitites and Educational Sciences. Among others, it runs the international „Observatory for Academic and School Cohabitation“ (Observatorio de la Convivencia Escolar). The „Centre for Studies on Science, Development and Higher Education“ (Centro REDES) was founded in 2002 by the nonprofit organisation Grupo REDES. The Network FLACSO (Latin American Institute for Social Sciences) is an international organisation in research and documentation founded in 1957 by the UNESCO. It has offices in 16 Latin American Countries. Since 1982, the Argentinian office of FLACSO has an area and website for education and educational research. Two programmes are central to this education area: the programme for „Education, Knowledge and Society“ (Educación, Conocimiento y Sociedad) and the programme for „Politics, Languages and Subjectivities of Education“ (Políticas, Lenguajes y Subjetividades en Educación). Since 1989, the first programme publishes the journal „Propuesta Educativa“ whose articles are open access.
