The University Network of Distance Learning (RUEDA) was founded on 10th August 1990. Its task is to foster and to develop the adequate application of the resources for distance learning by working on specific educacional problems. Furthermore, it fosters the investigation, experimenting and development of methods and procedures of distance learning as well as the formation, perfection and competence of the members of RUENDA. Also, it organizes meetings for the field of distance learning and establishes strategies regarding the financing. RUENDA serves as information and exchange plat form for productive education programs; it is in charge of educational, political, economical, legal and technical aspects of the network and makes proposals of policies concerning distance learning.

CONADU is the umbrella organisation for all associations of university lecturers at public universities in Argentina. One of their main aims is the support of lecturers‘ rights. The Argentinian Group of Mathematics Education (GAEM) is an association of Argentinian researchers and teachers which are involved in mathematics education of every level. The first objective of the group was the creation of an independent virtual space which allows to exchange productions, research results and information in regard to didactics and education of mathematics. Also in this space, events can be organised, publications offered and links to work groups can be put at disposal.

The National Academy for Education was founded in 1984 as a civil association. The National University of Córdoba is the oldest (founded in 1613) and together with the University of Buenos Aires also one of the biggest universities in Argentina. The Work Group of German-Argentinian Schools unites institutions with German-Argentinian origins in Argentina which have the objective to offer a qualitative and demanding formation in their schools. The mission statement of each of those schools includes, as a crucial point, the dissemination of the German language as cultural opening, the esteem of the needs of the environment and the promotion of a constant adaptation on institutional perfection.
