The National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF) is a multidisciplinary Research Centre. Its aim is to perform, finance and support high-level research projects in the areas of humanities and natural sciences. During its years of operation the NHRF has developed and performed research projects in the fields of history, physics, chemistry, material sciences, biology and biotechnology in close collaboration with other Research Institutes, Universities and enterprises in Greece or abroad.

The study compass offers information about studies at Austrian scientific universities, academies and universities for applied sciences. The website is divided into faculties and subjects and informs about study options at the different universities. Regarding the subjects as such information is given on the content of studies, structure and duration, the qualification profile, the job outline and prospects and on the exams. Moreover short statistical data are made and contact persons as well as links to the respective institutes are named. In an additional area the information is also compiled with regard to the particular universities.

Die Nationale Griechische Forschungsstiftung (EIE – Το Εθνικό ‚Ίδρυμα Ερευνών ) wurde 1958 gegründet und ist ein multidisziplinäres Forschungszentrum mit dem Zweck, Projekte in den Bereichen der Geisteswissenschaften, Natur- und Ingenieurswissenschaften durchzuführen, zu finanzieren und zu unterstützen. Es setzt sich derzeit aus drei Forschungsinstituten – dem Institut für Geschichtsforschung, für grundlegende und angewandte Forschung sowie dem Nationalen Dokumentationszentrum – zusammen. Die Forschungsgemeinschaft kooperiert dabei mit Universitäten und anderen Forschungseinrichtungen auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene.
