to Jacques Lipchitz 1 Object Postcards from Oscar
In this postcard, sent from St Raphael, Miestchaninoff calls Lipchitz ‚Dear Marga‘, signs as ‚your Mechan‘ and talks about nice weather in St Raphael, where they are renting a dwelling near the beach. He also asks Lipchitz to find a letter on the desk in his flat, with the address of his friend ‚Franketti‘ [or ‚Franchetti‘,originally written in Cyrillic),and send this letter to him. Probably, Lipchitz stayed in his flat this time.
Miestchaninoff to Jacques Lipchitz Postcard from Oscar
In this postcard sent from Amsterdam, Miestchaninoff calls Lipchitz ‚Mon cher Margua‘, and talks about his exhibition, that his works have not arrived yet. He asks how things are in Boulogne and especially ‚how the painting of the facade [of the house, designed by Le Corbusier) is going?‘ and is wondering if Lipchitz wants him to bring some reproductions of the Dutch masters and which ones?
